The script library and saving scripts
Prebuilt scripts to add or open in the editor, and your own scripts saved with Ctrl/⌘+S.
The OxScript panel has two tabs: My scripts and Library.
- Library: read-only scripts in six groups (Trend, Momentum, Volatility, Signals, Structure, Strategies). Search by name, then Add to chart or open one in the editor to learn from it or adapt it.
- My scripts: the file menu lists your saved scripts. Save with Ctrl+S (⌘S on a Mac). The actions menu has New, Save as, Rename, Duplicate and Delete. A dot marks unsaved changes.
- The editor suggests completions with Ctrl+Space. Esc, then Tab, leaves the editor.
- A script on the chart carries its source, so it comes back after a reload even if you never saved the file.
Where scripts live
By default in this browser's storage. Your platform may connect a server store instead (the scriptStore prop), which makes them follow you across devices.
