Can I buy a straddle instead of selling?

Yes — each row has both B (buy) and S (sell) buttons. The Spread Seller supports both directions equally. B places a simultaneous market buy on both CE and PE. This is also the fastest way to close an existing short straddle or strangle in one click.

What is the difference between Straddle and Strangle mode?

Straddle mode shows rows where the CE and PE are at the same strike — DIFF 0 is the ATM straddle. Strangle mode shows rows where CE and PE are at different strikes (OTM pairs). The DIFF column shows the distance from ATM for both modes, so you can quickly see how far each pair sits from the current price.

What does the DIFF column mean?

DIFF (difference) shows how far the strike pair is from the current underlying price. A DIFF of 0 means the ATM straddle — the closest pair to current spot. Higher DIFF values are progressively OTM strangle combinations. Use DIFF to quickly navigate to your preferred distance without counting strikes manually.

Yes — select any available expiry in the expiry dropdown, including weekly expiries. The table repopulates with all available strike combinations for the chosen expiry. You can switch between weekly and monthly expiries at any time without losing your other widget settings.

How do I trade a single leg from this widget?

Hover over any row (or use arrow keys to navigate focus) and B/S buttons appear directly on the CALL and PUT cells. Click the button for the specific leg you want. This is useful for adding a single hedge, closing one side of an existing position, or trading a directional leg independently.

Click the Ladder icon in the BUY/SELL column. This opens the selected strike pair in a new Strategy Order Board widget where you can set your own limit prices for each leg, monitor fills, and modify orders. The market-order S/B buttons are for speed; the Ladder is for precise price entry.
